         An Archaeological Museum, 
        the 600 years castle 
        of Nafpaktos,

 Recommended: Get in Nafpaktos in the summer time for the Papacharalabia; a cycle 
    of sports and arts events, with participants from Greece and other 
    countries. Ancient Drama Plays are presented within the charming atmosphere 
    of the castle.
 
 Also a perfect time for a visit is early October; the 
    anniversary of the naval battle of Nafpaktos, when various events take 
    place. Another great time for a visit is Easter. Especially on Good Friday 
    the atmosphere in the harbour is something else. All the town lights go out 
    and big fires are lit by the castle guard rooms.
 
 Recommended: Even take a fishing rod down to the jetty or go for a swim. The town that has 
    lasted for 3.500 years, surviving invaders, pirates and earthquakes awaits 
    you!
